Now that school’s back in session, it’s easy to see that they’re all our children, aren’t they?

We are a community, and when one child goes without, in a way we all do. When members of a small town set out to help others, they mean it. We are the village that raises the child. And this village steps up.

Every. Single. Time.

Our annual back to school in 60 seconds school supply drive was another huge success because of local businesses and very generous individuals.

Thanks to the support from the local business community and area residents, The Paperhouse was able to donate $1,500 worth of school supplies to local children in need. Together, we donated five sets of school supplies for every grade in our local school district.

Five of these back to school kits were donated to each grade. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our community members, children who might have otherwise gone without this year, didn't.

We live in a giving, loving community, and the people living here demonstrate that every time there is a need. The next time you consider taking your business out of town, please reconsider, and, if possible, shop at any one of the following St. Maries merchants. They’ve made a direct investment in our community at its most fundamental level: our children.
